The Organisation
Rediffusion Industrial Services was set up in 1934 to provide service support for the company's industrial, military and commercial products. By the late 1970's it's customer base had grown to more than 20,000, a figure which included some of those customers from the earlier pioneering days and the company was re-named Rediffusion Business Electronics.
With successful modern businesses becoming increasingly dependent upon its communications, the effective installation and maintenance of such systems became an essential factor. Rediffusion's track record and organisation together with their extensive group back-up, placed the business in a unique position to provide that service, both in the current marketplace, and in the ever emerging new technological fields some of which are listed below.
Networks Audio: Dedicated hard-wire systems to digitally encoded transmission mediums.
TV Distribution: Video, HF VHF UHF and fibre optic.
Specialist Systems: CCTV Telemetry micro-computer based systems and electro-mechanical pneumatic tube systems.

star systems, with over with over 34,000 TV receivers and monitors on service. This included conventional
