Rediffusion Hull Reunion 2014
Rediffusion Hull held it’s annual staff reunion at The Goodfellowship Inn, Cottingham Road, Hull on Friday 5th December 2014. It is nearly 30 years since these reunions started and it is amazing that former employees still turn up and dark, cold nights.
A few people who had not attended in recent years joined us but numbers were generally down. Unfortunately as we all get older people do not like to venture out on cold nights. Stephen Horsley travelled down from Scarborough, North Yorkshire for his first visit. Via Facebook a number of new contacts have been made and they have indicated that they will join us in future years.
We still had a great time reminiscing and all agreed that despite the dwindling numbers we should continue our get togethers.
The next reunion is planned to be on Friday 4th December 2015, again at
The Goodfellowship.
